Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions (‘T&Cs’) apply to all Services supplied by Mind My Marvellous Moggy.  Please read through them carefully. By booking our Services you signify your agreement to be bound by these T&Cs and you acknowledge that you have read and understood our Privacy Notice. In these T&Cs Mind My Marvellous Moggy are also referred to as ‘we’ or ‘us’ and when we say ‘Customer’ or ‘you’ we are referring to the person entering into a contract or making enquiries with Mind My Marvellous Moggy. Mind My Marvellous Moggy is the business name used by Christopher Tisdall.

 

About our Services

We provide the following services:

 

  1. Putting food and drink out for your moggy; 

  2. Giving your moggy affection and having a little play with them;

  3. Emptying, cleaning and refilling litter trays;

  4. Cleaning and tidying the immediate feeding area; and

  5. Other tasks agreed between us.

 

We will provide these or similar services as agreed between us to you on the dates and at the time and location set out on the Order Form (the ‘Services’)

 

When booking our Services, you understand and agree that:

  • Mind My Marvellous Moggy will always provide the Services with reasonable care and skill.

  • Mind My Marvellous Moggy shall have no liability to you, unless caused by Mind My Marvellous Moggy’s negligence.

  • The Services are only available to people aged 18+.

  • Payment in full is required before the commencement of the Services and Mind My Marvellous Moggy shall have the right to cancel the Services at any time before payment is made.

  • Mind My Marvellous Moggy has the right to alter or withdraw the Services at any time and to refuse providing the Services to any customer.

  • The prices shown on www.mindmymarvellousmoggy.co.uk (the ‘Website’) at the time of booking are guide prices. Mind My Marvellous Moggy will endeavour to keep this information up to date and accurate and will always tell you the price of the Services at the time of booking.

  • If you need to cancel the Services you will be entitled to the following refunds:

    • More than 14 days: 100%

    • Less than 14 days but more than 72 hours: 50%

    • Less than 72 hours: No refund

  • You must tell us about any complaint you may have in connection with the Services no later than 14 days after we have provided them otherwise we will be entitled to assume that you are satisfied with them.

  • If Mind My Marvellous Moggy is prevented or delayed in the performance of the Services by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, then Mind My Marvellous Moggy shall be excused the performance or the punctual performance of its obligations (as the case may be).

  • You must provide adequate food, dietary information, cat litter, veterinary care contact details and cleaning products so that Mind My Marvellous Moggy is able to provide the Services.

  • You must also provide emergency contact details for you and a third party (for us to use in the event of an emergency if you are unavailable).

  • Mind My Marvellous Moggy shall only be liable to you for direct losses arising as a direct result of the performance of the Services and which is for: (a) physical damage to property because of our negligence or fault; (b) the failure to provide the Services in accordance with these terms and conditions; or (c) our failure to use reasonable skill and care.

  • The liability of Mind My Marvellous Moggy shall at all times be limited to that covered by the insurance Mind My Marvellous Moggy has in place at the time.  Our insurance is available on request.

  • You indemnify Mind My Marvellous Moggy for any additional expenses incurred in the provision of the Services. These may include but are not limited to cat food or cat litter (if insufficient stocks been provided), veterinary care costs if required and any related transport costs incurred.

  • You must ensure your home and pet are secure prior to Mind My Marvellous Moggy’s arrival, for example by closing windows or ensuring that areas where pets are not allowed are locked or closed. The customer is responsible for providing any information to Mind My Marvellous Moggy in this regard.

  • You must make Mind My Marvellous Moggy aware of any hazards in your home that may cause injury (including your moggy).

  • Mind My Marvellous Moggy may use your contact details to contact you with important information about your booking.

 

Changes to the T&Cs

These T&Cs are subject to change by Mind My Marvellous Moggy at any time. We will notify you about significant changes by sending a notice to your email address, or by placing a notice on the Website, so that you can choose whether to continue using our Services. You should periodically check the Website for updates. Your continued use of the Website or the Services will constitute acceptance by you of such changes.
